Life of Isaac G. Perry:
Born in Vermont, Perry's father as carpenter influenced young Perry in his modeling skills and the sense of design. Perry goes to an architecture firm in NYC, where he meets the physician Joseph Turner through whom Perry builds NYS Inebriate Asylum. Perry's relationship with Turner role was crucial as for Perry to gain the trust of the board of trustees. Perry retired when he was 77 year-old, and the Perry Building and other buildings in Binghamton and Albany continues his legacy of architectural works.
